Freehold Raceway Mall is gearing up for the arrival of new retailers.
In an Aug. 28 news release, the Route 9 shopping center announced the upcoming additions:
- JD Sports – athletic footwear, apparel and accessories
- Kids Empire – 15,000-square-foot indoor playground
- Läderach – Swiss chocolate maker
- Qi Balance Spa – deep tissue, Swedish and hot stone massages
- Kura Sushi – Japan-based concept that features a revolving sushi bar and conveyor belt
- Mango Thai – quick-service chain specializing in authentic Thai dishes
- Dry Goods USA – contemporary fashion for women and juniors
- Warby Parker – budget-friendly prescription eyeglasses, sunglasses and contact lenses
Freehold Raceway also expects the grand opening of Dick’s House of Sport soon. Located in the former Lord & Taylor store, the 100,000-square-foot space will sell various sporting goods and offer experiences such as golf bays, a climbing wall and a multisport cage.
Since establishing the concept in 2021, the sporting goods retailer has launched more than 20 Dick’s House of Sport stores nationwide. It will open Sept. 19 at Newport Centre in Jersey City and in coming months at Cherry Hill Mall in Cherry Hill.
Other changes
Additionally, Victoria’s Secret recently unveiled its newly renovated store, J. Crew Factory opened its doors and Francesca’s relocated to a new space on the upper level, according to the mall.
Commenting on the latest wave of openings and expansions, Freehold Raceway Mall Senior Property Manager Frank Lucia said the shopping center remains focused on “curating a retail experience that truly reflects the needs and interests of our community.”
“With concepts spanning wellness, family entertainment, and specialty retail, each addition enriches the atmosphere and makes the property an even more dynamic destination.”
