Stretch Zone is adding a sixth studio in New Jersey.
Located at 438 Route 202-206 in Bedminster, the fitness franchise offers one-on-one assisted stretching. Using a patented strapping system and targeted protocols, certified practitioners gently guide members through customized stretches to achieve improved flexibility, increased range of motion and reduced muscle tension, according to Stretch Zone.
Since its 2004 founding, Stretch Zone has expanded to over 400 locations across 41 states. It has also earned recognition by the Franchise Times and Inc. 5000 as one of the smartest growing ventures.
Within New Jersey, the chain already has sites in Barnegat, Cherry Hill, Franklin Lakes, Mount Laurel and Northfield.
After opening in Bedminster, owner and operator Ray Kalustyan plans to add a studio in Chester next year, according to Stretch Zone.
“I have always been into health and wellness from my college soccer days through my 42-plus corporate years. I am a weekend warrior — golf and exercise — and stretching is paramount for me. Once I experienced a demo stretch, I was sold on the concept,” he said.
Kalustyan went on to note the benefits of stretching for everyone “from competitive athletes to grandparents who want to keep up with their grandkids.”
“It’s a game changer for those looking to maintain mobility and age gracefully,” he said.
To celebrate its arrival in Bedminster, Stretch Zone is offering a complimentary first stretch consultation and session. According to its website, Bedminster is not yet open but is “coming soon.”
