A New Jersey success story
Founded in 2012, Scrub Daddy became known for its high-performance, smiley-faced, scratch-free cleaning sponge made from patented texture changing FlexTexture material. The Pennsauken company has grown to offer a full line of 160-plus innovative cleaning tools. Its products are sole at major retailers like Target, Walmart, Kroger, Lowe’s and Amazon.
Since Scrub Daddy’s October 2012 appearance on the reality competition series, it has sold more than 25 million sponges. In fact, the brand is regarded as one of the most successful companies in “Shark Tank” history
Over the past two years, Scrub Daddy also has teamed up with Dunkin’ on a limited-edition sponge for National Doughnut Day. Additionally, it partnered with Hoboken-based Unilever USA household cleaning products brand Cif to develop co-branded products.

Other brands that Spirit Halloween has worked with on exclusive costume creations include Chipotle Mexican Grill and Parsippany-headquartered Ferrero North America-owned Butterfinger.
Spirit Halloween is considered the go-to place for costumes, props, accessories and decorations. The banner expects to open more than 1,500 stores this spooky season.
With the countdown to Halloween on, the chain recently shared the hottest costume and décor trends for 2025.
The most popular characters for dressing up? That will include ones from “KPop Demon Hunters,” “Wicked: For Good,” “Squid Game” and the Marvel superhero universe. Spirit Halloween also expects demand for costumes like Art the Clown, Wednesday Addams and Happy Gilmore.
Spirit Halloween CEO Steven Silverstein said, “Halloween is the ultimate stage for self-expression, and no one brings that to life like Spirit Halloween fans. Our team works year-round to anticipate the season’s biggest moments and create a one-of-a-kind assortment of costumes, accessories, and décor. It’s amazing to see the energy of how these looks come together in-store and at all the Halloween celebrations throughout the season.”
