Berkeley College will host a Fall Career Fair that’s open to students, alumni and members of the community.
Set for 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 16, the event will take place at Berkeley’s Woodland Park campus in the Atrium & Community Room, 44 Rifle Camp Road.
More than 70 hiring companies are scheduled to be on hand to speak with job seekers.
Participating companies span health care, law enforcement, government, finance, nonprofits and more. Some of the organizations lined up to attend include:
- Atlantic Health System
- Boys & Girls Club of Paterson and Passaic
- Citizens Bank
- FedEx
- Hackensack Meridian Health
- H&R Block
- New Jersey Courts
- NJ Transit
- University Hospital
- YMCA
Employers will be hiring for full- and part-time positions, as well as for internships.
Michael Iris, Berkeley College‘s associate vice president, Alumni Relations and Career Services, said the school’s April career fair included nearly 70 employers.
“We are excited to again provide a platform where our students, alumni, and the local community can connect with a diverse group of employers and take meaningful steps toward their career goals,” Iris added.
Participants should bring several copies of their resumes, dress professionally and be prepared for conversations with employers, the college advised.
