Mars Wrigley wants to make sure every house is ready to welcome trick-or-treaters this Halloween.
The Newark-headquartered sweets giant is partnering for a third consecutive year with digital delivery service Gopuff to provide free M&M’s delivery in 30 minutes or less on Halloween night. The offering will be available starting at 5 p.m. Oct. 31 in participating areas, while supplies last, Mars said in a press release.
Tim LeBel, the company’s president of sales and “chief Halloween officer,” shared, “M&M’S Halloween Rescue Squad is delivering the Halloween spirit to even more fans who are eager to have fun celebrating with family, friends and M&M’S. Nothing is scarier than an empty candy bowl on Halloween night, but M&M’S has your back if you run out — so you can keep the fun and celebrations going.”
With Halloween falling on a Friday for the first time since 2014, Mars says it plans to offer “more candy than ever before” to accommodate an expected influx of trick-or-treaters and “Halloweekend” celebrations.
The company says it’s also teaming up with “Jersey Shore” star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi on free “Treat & Greet” kits packed with goodies to make Halloween extra sweet, such as a festive candy bowl, a T-shirt and plenty of M&M’s. Kits will be available here at 10 a.m. Oct. 10 while supplies last.
