The second and final gubernatorial debate between Democrat Mikie Sherrill and Republican Jack Ciattarelli will take place tonight from 7 PM to 8 PM at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center in New Brunswick.
The debate is sponsored by WABC-TV Channel 7 in New York, WPVI-TV Channel 6 in Philadelphia, and WXTV Univision 41 in New York. Bill Ritter and Tamala Edwards will moderate the debate.
New Jerseyans can watch the debate on Channel 7 in North Jersey, Channel 6 in South Jersey, and on abc7ny.com and 6abc.com mobile apps.
Pre-debate coverage will begin at 6:30 PM, and post-debate coverage will follow at 8:00 PM. These broadcasts will be on Channel 7 and Channel 6 streaming platforms.
Sherrill and Ciattarelli are required to participate in two debates sanctioned by the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission as a condition of receiving $10.5 million in public matching funds.
The first debate was sponsored by the New Jersey Globe, On New Jersey, and Rider University, and took place on the campus of Rider University in Lawrenceville on September 21. With over 1,600 people in attendance, it was the largest in-person debate in state history.
