Dunkin’ is celebrating the relaunch of two newly remodeled stores in New Jersey by giving away 100 days’ worth of free coffee.
As part of grand reopening festivities set for Oct. 15 in Jersey City (511 W. Side Ave.) and Oct. 17 in Union (1401 Morris Ave.), the first 100 Dunkin‘ Rewards members in line at 9 a.m. at each location will score the ability to redeem free medium or iced coffee for 100 consecutive days via the brand’s app. To qualify, guests must be 18 years or older.
In addition to 11 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremonies, both stores will also mark the occasion by offering attendees a chance to win free Dunkin’ merchandise. Jersey City and Union will also feature a complimentary photo booth from 9–11 a.m.

Based in Canton, Mass., Dunkin’ is considered the largest coffee and doughnuts brand in the country. The Inspire Brands-owned quick-service restaurant’s footprint of more than 14,000 locations globally includes 865-plus shops in New Jersey.
In 2018, the chain unveiled a next generation store concept. The revamp aimed to improve speed, convenience and customer experience. According to Inspire Brands, it has converted or built more than 4,000 Dunkin’ locations across the U.S. using the design.
Locally, stores that now feature the format include River Edge (1091 Main St.) and Union (2639 Morris Ave.).
What’s new?

Along with bright interiors, updated materials and a more welcoming, efficient space for both employees and customers, the format includes an innovative tap system for serving Dunkin’s signature cold beverages. It also includes a dedicated mobile pickup area, so customers who order using the app can get in and out of the store even faster.
Additionally, fully integrated digital kiosks let guests place and pay for their orders without going to the counter.
In Jersey City, the 1,500-square-foot store employs 12 workers and is open daily from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m. The 1,700-square-foot Union outpost has a crew of 18 team members and is open Monday to Friday, 4:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and weekends, 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation is partnering with the two stores’ franchisees to make donations of $3,000 apiece to Beth El Seventh Adventist Church Food Pantry in Jersey City and Community FoodBank of New Jersey in Hillside.
