Drive-thru beverage concept 7 Brew Coffee is celebrating the launch of its second outpost in New Jersey.
Located at 1350 Hooper Ave. in Toms River, the brand officially began welcoming customers Oct. 11.
Founded in 2017, the Arkansas-based franchise serves coffee, energy drinks, flavored sodas, smoothies, shakes and teas. Unlike coffee chains such as Starbucks and Dunkin’, 7 Brew does not offer indoor seating or food items. Instead, the stand aims to set itself apart with quick service as well as a wide range of custom hand-crafted drinks.
In recent years, 7 Brew has gone viral for its more than 20,000 unique drink combinations. Options range from its original “Blondie,” a caramel and vanilla beverage, to seasonal flavors, such as Cinnamon Roll and German Chocolate.
7 Brew made its New Jersey debut earlier this year in the Turnersville area of Washington Township.
The Blackstone-backed, rapidly growing chain plans to open several more area locations over the next few years, including Winslow Township. Sites will also come to Hazlet and Berkeley Township, Asbury Park Press reported.
Victory lap
In Toms River, the newly opened location marks 7 Brew’s 500th spot nationwide.
The brand commemorated the milestone with a race-themed takeover that included a car show and exclusive giveaways. A fundraiser effort generated $2,500 for Toms River first responders and $5,330 for local nonprofit Oceans of Love, according to a 7 Brew spokesperson.
Company President Chris Dawson shared, “7 Brew is all about cultivating kindness in communities across the country, and we were excited to transform our Toms River stand into an interactive racetrack experience to welcome first-timers and die-hard fans alike.”
“Our race to 500 stands is a testament to our amazing customers, remarkable franchisees and the best Brewistas on the planet. This milestone isn’t a finish line, it’s just another lap in our mission to spread kindness, fun and flavor everywhere we go,” Dawson said.
After opening the state’s first 7 Brew in South Jersey, franchisee Shunori Ramanathan said, “We are incredibly excited to celebrate 7 Brew’s 500th stand in Toms River, and to bring not just amazing drinks, but 7 Brew’s brand of energy and kindness to the community. 7 Brew was born from a desire to change the drive-thru experience, cultivate kindness and serve premium coffee and beverages in record time, so it’s truly amazing to see how far the brand has come and the impact we’ve made.”
At Levin Management Corp.-managed Hooper Commons in Toms River, 7 Brew joins a tenant mix that includes Dollar Tree, Mattress Firm, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Aqua-Tots Swim School and Drybar.
7 Brew is open Sunday through Thursday, 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday through Saturday, 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
