Bergen New Bridge Medical Center has elevated Sandi Weiss to CFO and vice president of finance.
Weiss joined the largest hospital and licensed nursing home in New Jersey in 2020 as director of finance.
In her newest role, Weiss will oversee financial operations, budgeting and strategic initiatives at the medical center. Bergen New Bridge said her work will help to ensure its continued growth and stability amid a regional expansion.

“Sandi is not only a talented financial strategist, but also a trusted leader who understands the unique challenges and opportunities facing safety net, not-for-profit health care providers,” said Bergen New Bridge Medical Center President and CEO Deborah Visconi. “Her insight, integrity and dedication have been instrumental to our success, and I’m thrilled to see her take on this expanded leadership role as we continue our transformational journey.”
Previously, Weiss served as executive director of finance. In that role, Bergen New Bridge said she helped strengthen the organization’s financial foundation during rapid growth and industry change.
Weiss brings more than 20 years of experience to the chief financial officer post. Before Bergen New Bridge, she held leadership positions at Palisades Medical Center and North Fullerton Surgery Center, the hospital said.
With 1,070 beds, Paramus-based Bergen New Bridge Medical Center is the fourth-largest publicly owned hospital in the U.S.
