Cammie Croft, a former affordable electricity nonprofit leader and Obama administration official who is now one of 13 Democrats running to represent New Jersey’s 11th congressional district, has named her campaign team ahead of the two-month sprint to the February 5 primary.
Michael Muller, a longtime veteran of New Jersey politics, will be Croft’s senior advisor. Muller, who is also the Mount Laurel Democratic chairman and the husband of Assemblywoman Carol Murphy (D-Mount Laurel), is a senior strategist at TargetSmart and previously led the Assembly Democratic campaign arm for close to 20 years.
As campaign manager, Croft has picked Fiona Druge, a BerlinRosen alum whom Croft said has a “deep background in organizing.”
“Michael and Fiona are exactly the kind of proven, principled leaders we need in this fight,” Croft said in a statement. “Their experience running tough campaigns and delivering real results will help us build a movement focused on lowering costs, fighting corruption, and making government work for New Jersey families.”
Croft said she’s also tapped Rebecca Katz, who was closely involved in Zohran Mamdani’s mayoral victory in neighboring New York City, to be part of the campaign team.
