The basics:
- Phiphen spins off Englewood Cliffs post-production studio as newly branded Palisades Post
- Leaders Conners, Sinisi outline growth across production, media, gaming & services
- Phiphen and Palisades will collaborate to offer a full production-to-post pipeline
- Companies see continued expansion as New Jersey strengthens its film and TV sector
NJBIZ has exclusively learned that Phiphen Post Studios, a boutique, state-of-the-art post-production house in Englewood Cliffs, is undergoing a spin-off and rebrand amid continued growth.
NJBIZ previously reported on the ribbon cutting of Phiphen Post Studios in 2022. The facility marked an expansion of the New Jersey production company Phiphen, a female-led business founded by award-winning producers Molly Conners and Jane Sinisi.
“As the New Jersey film industry continues to grow, the state’s leading post-production facility – formerly Phiphen Post Studios – has spun off and will continue operations under a new name, Palisades Post, with Jane Sinisi at the helm,” the companies told NJBIZ. “Molly Conners will continue to oversee Phiphen, as it expands its production, media, and gaming divisions.”
Full creative experience
Conners spun off shares in the post-production facility to allow for focused growth across both businesses. Additionally, she noted Little Falls-based Phiphen is entering a period of significant expansion – and focusing on its core business pillars:
- A robust production slate;
- Production services company;
- Media fund; and
- Game publishing via its new Phiphen Games label.
The production slate featured 10 films over the past year, such as“Turbulence,” which hits theaters this month. On the gaming side, the company launched “Ruffy and the Riverside” on all major gaming platforms.
Under this new strategy, Phiphen and Palisades will continue to collaborate on select projects. That will allow filmmakers to access a 360-degree creative experience across both companies, providing a seamless production-to-post pipeline — at one of the top post facilities in the state.
NJBIZ caught up with Conners and Sinisi to learn more.
‘Hollywood of the East Coast’
“What advantage does this strategy offer the companies and your clients?” NJBIZ asked.
“By rebranding as Palisades Post, we are further establishing the post-production studio as a standalone, full-service solution for projects of all types. Supporting all content creators,” the companies said. “Phiphen and Palisades Post will continue to collaborate, using their strong expertise in each area to support filmmakers both in New Jersey and globally. Our hope is to eventually make New Jersey the ‘Hollywood of the East Coast.’”

“What are key areas of focus heading into 2026?” NJBIZ asked.
“We are excited to continue advancing our slate of original projects, supporting production efforts in New Jersey and growing the newest arm of the company, Phiphen Games, and our digital marketing company, Harpoon,” Conners told NJBIZ.
“Palisades Post will continue to be the premiere destination for film and television post-production in New Jersey with a full range of services expanding into other areas such a podcasting, and continuing to create an environment for content creators,” Sinisi told NJBIZ. “Content creation is growing in N.J. – and we want to grow with it.”
More growth coming
“Given all of the major developments, projects, growth; how exciting of a time is it in the Jersey film and TV sector?” NJBIZ asked.
Conners noted how New Jersey has always been an area rich in production.

“And we see even more growth down the pipeline, especially with companies like Netflix and 1888 building their studios,” said Conners. “Phiphen has expanded its production services business to meet the need in the market. The company has opened offices in Little Falls and is also exploring an expansion into Hoboken.”
Sinisi echoed those sentiments. She described it as a very exciting time for the state.
“Every year, we’ve seen an increase in production throughout the state,” said Sinisi. “The NJ Motion Picture and TV Commission, along with other supporting entities, have done an amazing job making the state a premier production location. Palisades Post will continue to service projects of all shapes and sizes as they continue to flock to the area.
“In addition to the thriving scene in New Jersey, being part of the New York-metro area and close to major east coast studios positions Palisades Post as a valuable tool for the filmmaking community.”
