The Habit Burger Grill is preparing to unveil its latest restaurant in New Jersey.
Located at 388 Route 3 in Clifton, the fast-casual chain’s new outpost is scheduled to begin welcoming customers Dec. 17, the company announced.
Known for its cooked-to-order chargrilled burgers, handcrafted sandwiches, fresh salads, shakes and sides, the California-founded eatery has more than 385 spots across the U.S.
Within New Jersey, its footprint of more than a dozen locations includes Bloomfield, Bound Brook, Cedar Knolls, Cherry Hill, East Brunswick, Eatontown, Fair Lawn, Florham Park, Hamilton Township, Parsippany, River Edge, Teterboro and Wayne.
Commenting on the latest launch, Habit Burger Culinary Innovation Director Jason Triail said, “New Jersey has always welcomed Habit with big open arms – so we’re extra pumped to be opening our newest restaurant in Clifton. This vibrant and diverse city already has a deep food scene, and we’re excited to add to it with our award-winning charburgers, sandwiches, fresh salads, unique sides, and all the flavor-packed goodness we have to offer!”
In Clifton, the restaurant will be open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. for dine-in and takeout. Delivery will also be available via Grubhub, DoorDash, Postmates and Uber Eats.

On Dec. 13, 15 and 16, the first 200 guests between noon and 5 p.m. will receive a free meal, the chain said. Recipients must be CharClub members and have a VIP invitation.
Additionally, the first 100 customers during the Dec. 17 grand opening will receive a Habit Burger tote bag.
