Shawnee pulled out a narrow 46-43 victory over Notre Dame in the Haddons Invitational in Haddonfield, led by Jake Jones with a team-high 16 points.
Shawnee (2-2) started slow, trailing 15-9 after the first quarter and 27-15 at halftime. It came out strong in the second half, outscoring Notre Dame 14-8 in the third quarter to cut the deficit to 35-29 heading into the final frame.
Shawnee’s offense caught fire in the fourth quarter, putting up 17 points while holding Notre Dame (2-4) to just eight.
Tyler Nickles also had a strong offensive performance for Shawnee, contributing 12 points.
Notre Dame was paced by Will Foley, who scored 18 points. Colin Cunningham added 12 points for Notre Dame.
