Florence (1-2) took a four-point lead after the first quarter before Nottingham (1-4) cut it in half by the break.
Ryann Smith led Florence with 15 points. It was able to extend the lead to five in thefinal quarter.
Nottingham turned in a 13-5 fourth quarter to secure the win.
Zi’Asia Williams finished with 10 points and nine rebounds to go with three blocks.
