The final week of the regular season for the 2025-26 campaign has arrived throughout the N.J. boys and girls bowling community.
Take a look below at a slew of can’t-miss dual matches and tournaments you’ll want to pay attention to over the next few days.
Monday, Feb. 2
Boys: Fort Lee vs. Dumont
The top two teams in the Big North American Division duel it out on the lanes for the second time this winter. Since its loss to Fort Lee back in December, Dumont has won 17 dual matches in a row. Fort Lee had won 11 straight before losing to Bergen Tech last Friday. Freshman Kevin Cho (209 average) has been sensational for the Bridgemen, while Caleb Lee (208 average) is having a great senior campaign for Dumont.
Tuesday, Feb. 3
Bergen County Boys Individual Tournament
The top 36 boys bowlers in Bergen County compete at Bowler City in Hackensack to crown a new county champion. Each bowler will roll three traditional games with the top five totals advancing to the stepladder bracket. Pascack Valley juniors Brett Fischbein (209 average) and Lucas Mercado (216 average) each made it to the stepladder bracket last year. Hasbrouck Heights senior William Munoz (218 average) and Rutherford senior Brandon Fedarick (220 average) hold the top two averages heading into the tournament. Demarest senior Aneis Zerillo, Old Tappan senior Selden Kolkebeck and Bergen Tech’s duo Sebastian Bray and Liam Zamora round out the list the of favorites heading into the competition.
Shore Conference Individual Tournament
Jackson Township sophomore Michael Fogarty (boys) and Barnegat senior Jamie White (girls) defend their respective conference individual titles on Tuesday in Lakewood at the Shore Conference Individual Tournament. All bowlers participating in the tournament will bowl three traditional games during the qualifying round. The top four totals from each gender will advance to a stepladder bracket to determine a winner.
Colts Neck senior Jason Bennett, who rolled a 300 and won the Monmouth County individual title last week, will contend with Fogarty for the boys crown. Howell senior Paul Lampe, Southern senior Kenneth Hallihan and Wall junior Donaven Kline are another trio of top contenders on the boys side.
Headlining the girls division alongside White are Brick Memorial freshman Bryonna Camp, Brick Township senior Addison Gerhard, Central Regional senior Morgan Hawks and Toms River South sophomore Christina Scibetta.
Wednesday, Feb. 4
Hudson County Tournament
Bayonne, Snyder and St. Peter’s Prep will each vie for the boys team crown on Wednesday at Hudson Lanes in Jersey City. The Bees took home the team crown last year and are a combined 4-1 against the Tigers and Marauders this winter. The Hudson County King/Queen Tournament will be held on Thursday at Bowl Rite Lanes in Union City. St. Peter Prep’s Tony Rico won the title of king last year.
Saturday, Feb. 7
New Jersey Super Bowl
The sixth installment of the event at Ocean Lanes in Lakewood will see a host of top teams across the state compete in a final tune-up for the state tournament. Howell (girls) and Kinnelon (boys) each won team titles last year. Each team in attendance will compete in three traditional games during the qualifying round. The top four totals from each gender will advance into a baker playoff format to determine a winner.
