Ahead of its grand opening this spring, Six Flags is kicking off an effort to fill 3,000 seasonal jobs and part-time positions at its Great Adventure theme park in Jackson.
In a Feb. 4 press release, the park said it is looking to hire a range of roles, including ride operators, food & beverage workers, lifeguards, retail associates, admissions team, parking lot crew members and security personnel.
In addition to salary rates of up to $19 per hour, flexible schedules and paid training, Six Flags offers in-park discounts, scholarships, free park admission for team members, and complimentary tickets for friends and family.
As part of the hiring spree, Six Flags will host a week-long recruitment event from Feb. 14–22, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. It will conduct virtual interviews, as well as in-person interviews at the company’s offices in Jackson (1 Six Flags Blvd.).
Depending on the position, applicants must be at least 14 years old, according to the company.
For those interested in entertainment, Six Flags will hold auditions Feb. 7 at noon at its offices. Candidates are encouraged to apply here in advance.

Six Flags Great Adventure Human Resources Director Brad McClain shared, “As we get ready to open for the 2026 season, it’s an exciting time to join the team at Six Flags Great Adventure. With continued investment across the park — including new attractions, enhanced guest experiences, and ongoing improvements throughout the property — we’re building on the momentum of last season.”
He went on to say, “Our efficient hiring and paid training process helps team members get started quickly, and we’re proud to build a diverse workforce focused on creating unforgettable moments for our guests, having fun at work, and forming lasting friendships along the way.”
Six Flags Great Adventure theme park and Wild Safari animal park will both open March 28 with a weekend-only schedule through Memorial Day weekend. After May 29, Great Adventure and Wild Safari will welcome guests seven days a week until Labor Day weekend.
Hurricane Harbor water park will open May 23 for the season. It will also wind down after Labor Day. Additionally, limited stays will begin April 3 at Six Flags’ Savannah Sunset Resort and Spa.
