George (PA) (5-1) overcame an early deficit, outscoring St. Thomas Aquinas 44-30 in the second half to secure the victory. The visiting team trailed 39-31 at halftime before mounting its comeback.
Leah Kearney contributed 14 points and seven rebounds for St. Thomas Aquinas (17-5), while Trista Whitney added 11 points, four rebounds, seven assists, and three steals. Lauryn Downing dished out eight assists to go with her eight points.
St. Thomas Aquinas started strong, building a 22-16 lead after the first quarter.
