Cherokee (14-8) outscored King’s Christian 34-10 through two quarters. The Chiefs built an 18-8 advantage after the first period and extended their lead with a commanding 16-2 run in the second.
For King’s Christian (14-8), Owen Atkins had 11 points, including two 3-pointers. Cameron Homer added six points.
The win was Cherokee’s sixth in its last seven games.
