The Bagel Nook is unveiling a limited-edition lineup of over-the-top bagels inspired by three newly released flavors from Waterloo Sparkling Water.
Available March 5–8 at the chain’s eight locations statewide, the collection showcases the beverage brand’s Banana Berry Bliss, Melon Medley and Lemon Italian Ice.
Additionally, when Daylight Saving Time begins March 8, customers who order any of the three special bagels that day will receive a complimentary can of the matching Waterloo flavor to help get their day started, while supplies last.
Olympic inspiration
As part of Austin-based Waterloo’s new “Wake Up With Waterloo” campaign, The Bagel Nook collaborated with the company on an offering during the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.
Inspired by the Italian tradition of serving espresso with a side of sparkling water, The Bagel Nook created a “sidecar set” that pairs a bag of its own coffee espresso with three cans of Waterloo’s new flavors.
In developing a campaign for the retail launch of Banana Berry Bliss, Melon Medley and Lemon Italian Ice, Waterloo Chief Marketing Officer Kathy Maurella said the goal was to “bring these flavors to life in an entirely new way.”
“Known for inventive, one-of-a-kind bagel creations, they were the perfect partner to showcase our newest releases – with Waterloo-inspired bagels to match each flavor. As we spring forward for Daylight Savings this weekend, it’s a fun, flavor-packed way to Wake Up with Waterloo,” she said.
The Bagel Nook co-owner Alex Berkowitz shared, “We’re always looking for new ways to make our customers’ mornings a little more exciting. Collaborating with Waterloo Sparkling Water let us bring their new flavors to life through some fun, limited‑time creations. We can’t wait for people to stop by and try them this weekend.”
