The New Jersey Chamber of Commerce announced Gov. Mikie Sherrill will deliver a keynote address at the ReNew Jersey Business Summit & Expo at Harrah’s Atlantic City.
The two-day summit returns March 31 this year after the chamber hosted its signature Walk to Washington event in 2025. NJCC plans to alternate the two major gatherings each year.
Co-hosted by Control Point Associates, the March 31–April 1 event expects to draw more than 900 business leaders. The gathering will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, an all-day business expo and networking opportunities.
Additional headline speakers include:
- Scott Kirby, CEO, United Airlines
- John Gallucci Jr., president and CEO, JAG Physical Therapy
Panel discussions will cover topics including:
- Energy affordability/reliability/sustainability
- Health care challenges
- The future of higher education in New Jersey
- The state’s innovation economy
- Positioning New Jersey for economic development
- Assessing competitiveness and more
The governor’s keynote will take place on the afternoon of the summit’s opening day. In her remarks, Sherrill is expected to outline her administration’s “Save You Time and Money” agenda and Day One executive orders aimed at making it easier to start and grow a business in New Jersey by streamlining government and reducing permitting barriers.
“I want to thank Gov. Sherrill for joining us at the ReNew Jersey Business Summit & Expo,” said Tom Bracken, president and CEO of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce. “Her administration’s commitment to strengthening New Jersey’s economy and enhancing our state’s competitiveness sends a strong and encouraging message to the business community.
“We look forward to hearing her vision for driving economic growth and expanding opportunity for employers and employees across the state.”
