The High Line is Coming Soon to Ridgewood
A new nightlife concept is in the works for Ridgewood.
The High Line, described as a “restaurant & piano bar”, is currently under construction above Steel Wheel Tavern, according to early details shared online. The new space will sit on the upper level of the downtown restaurant.
Branding for the concept describes it as a place “where elevated small plates meet live music in a setting of modern elegance.”
Preview renderings show a stylish lounge-style interior featuring a fireplace seating area, a long bar, and a dining room with warm lighting, velvet-style banquettes, and gold-accented details.

The design suggests a more refined, nightlife-focused atmosphere compared with the downstairs tavern.
The concept is expected to combine live piano music with a food and cocktail program centered around “elevated small plates”, positioning the space as a late-night destination for drinks, music, and social dining.
The project is being developed by the team behind Steel Wheel Tavern, with construction currently underway.
An official opening date has not yet been announced.
