International, full-service real estate advisory Binswanger is expanding its coverage across the Mid-Atlantic by launching a new office in New Jersey.
Situated between the two regions, a March 10 announcement from Binswanger noted the Bergen County location will also expand its New England regional platform.
Binswanger described the launch as a key component of its growing regional presence. The new space will house more than 12 brokers, the firm said. It kicked off the team building with recent hires from competitors including CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield and Marcus & Millichap.
In 2024, Bingswanger tapped former longtime CBRE New Jersey market leader Jeffrey Hipschman as CEO. His hiring marked the first non-family member to lead the Philadelphia-based company more than 90 years. The move builds on an evolution from a family- to employee-owned business, which began in 2017.
These new senior-level hires join the Binswanger North Jersey office:
- Charles Laginestra, senior vice president
Boasts 30-plus year industry veteran specializing in office acquisition, disposition, and leasing throughout North and Central New Jersey - Nick Savage, vice president
Brings more than 20 years of experience advising corporate occupiers on complex office strategies across the New Jersey and greater New York markets - Josh Krantz, senior vice president
Has 40 years of experience spanning industrial and retail investment sales, leasing and owner representation nationwide
Other senior-level colleagues will include Chris Pennington, Michael Torsiello, Nick Biedron, John Harris and Matt Fennelly, Binswanger said.
According to the firm, the North Jersey team boasts more than 200 years of combined real estate advisory experience. The group has a strong focus on industrial and highly specialized properties and occupiers globally.
“New Jersey represents a critical hub for industrial distribution, flex manufacturing, lab and life sciences, critical facilities, and related office requirements,” Hipschman said. “By establishing a presence … Binswanger expands our uniquely specialized approach in serving local, regional, and global clients seeking advanced solutions in one of the country’s largest and most complex industrial and special properties markets.”
Binswanger’s platform is supported by a Board of Experts. The team of 40-plus participants includes subject matter experts across engineering, food & beverage, life sciences, petro-chemicals, advanced manufacturing and quantum computing/data centers.
