Choose New Jersey reported a strong third quarter in its efforts to promote doing business here in the great Garden State.
Last quarter, the organization helped secure 15 company expansions or relocations in the state. The moves resulted in 1,533 new and retained jobs as well as $174 million in capital investment.
In September, Choose New Jersey also held its latest economic mission, led by Gov. Phil Murphy. The six-day trip to India resulted in the signing of 11 Memoranda of Understanding. Additionally, 12 companies announced expansions that will create over 400 new jobs. Microland also announce plans to establish a U.S. corporate office in Iselin.
“Our mission to India reaffirmed that New Jersey’s innovation ecosystem is second to none,” said Gov. Phil Murphy. “From life sciences and technology to higher education, we are building partnerships that deliver jobs, investment, and opportunity for both New Jersey and India.”


“Choose New Jersey continues to deliver results that position our state as a hub for innovation and investment,” said Ralph LaRossa, chairman of Choose New Jersey and chair, president and CEO of PSEG. “The partnerships forged this quarter will translate into jobs, growth, and opportunity for New Jersey residents and businesses.”
Throughout the period, the state recorded a number of notable corporate openings. Spread across a range of sectors, debuts that Choose New Jersey worked on include:
- Aurobindo Pharma manufacturing facility in East Windsor Township
- Libiao Robotics logistics center in Hillsborough
- Made Scientific new site in Princeton
