The basics:
- Total Atlantic City gaming revenue reached $636.2M in November, up 14.2%
- In-person casino win hit a 14-year November high at $236.8M
- Internet gaming and sports wagering posted double-digit growth
- Borgata, Hard Rock and Ocean Casino Resort led casino win totals
Total gaming revenue for casinos, racetracks and their partners was $636.2 million in November – a 14.2% jump from a year ago, according to the latest figures from state regulators.
And the continued strong fall season could also be seen in brick-and-mortar figures: The nine Atlantic City properties reported a casino win of $236.8 million, which is a 5.7% increase versus November 2024 – a near-term high.
“Atlantic City’s strong fall season continued in November,” said James Plousis, New Jersey Casino Control Commission chairman, in his remarks following the release of the November report from the Division of Gaming Enforcement.

“In-person casino win achieved its highest November figure in 14 years,” said Plousis. “Through the first eleven months of the year, casino win achieved its best result ($2.68 billion) since 2012.”
“An extra Saturday and some notable gains in table games revenue for operators lead to a near-term, record-high November brick-and-mortar gaming revenue for Atlantic City’s casinos,” said Jane Bokunewicz, faculty director of the Lloyd D. Levenson Institute of Gaming, Hospitality, and Tourism (LIGHT), Stockton University School of Business.
Notable figures from the November report:
- Internet gaming win: $253 million +18.2%
- Sports wagering win (gross revenue): $146.3 million +23%
- Sports wagering handle: $1.28 billion
- Total gaming revenue: $636.2 million +14.2%
- Gross revenue taxes: $93.4 million
Top 3 casino properties by casino win:
- Borgata: $72.1 million +25.2%
- Hard Rock: $45.3 million +2.2%
- Ocean Casino Resort: $39 million +14.7%
Strong month, but ‘mixed results’

“Coupled with solid performances from internet gaming and sports wagering, Atlantic City’s operators realized a November nearly as strong as any summer month,” said Bokunewicz. “However, this performance was not uniform across the market with individual operators seeing mixed results.”
“Internet gaming win eclipsed 2024’s 12-month record figure in only 11 months,” said Plousis. “So far this year, statewide total gaming revenue has exceeded $6.3 billion – the best 11-month result in over a decade, and higher than all 12 months of 2024.”
“Year-to-date gross gaming revenues seem on track to more than exceed 2024 for total revenues,” said Bokunewicz. “How this will translate to net revenue gains and industry profitability will not be known until next spring when the fourth quarter data is released. In prior quarters, headwinds from increased costs (and regional competition for patrons) narrowed margins for operators resulting in lower bottom lines, despite initial gross revenue gains.”
Plousis noted that the recent success of Atlantic City’s gaming industry has “dramatically accelerated growth in gaming-funded programs that benefit seniors and disabled New Jerseyans.
“In fiscal 2025, the industry incurred a record $661 million in taxes and fees,” said Plousis. “Since inception, more than $13.75 billion has been raised for critical programs in every county of the state.”

“November’s results are a testament to the strength and durability of New Jersey’s gaming market,” Bill Pascrell III, partner at Princeton Public Affairs Group (PPAG), told NJBIZ. “With total gaming revenue up more than 14% year-over-year and strong double-digit growth in iGaming and sports wagering, the state continues to prove that smart regulation and innovation drive real results.
“The steady gains in casino win, combined with another standout month for digital gaming, show that New Jersey is truly evolving. As the industry heads into the final stretch of the year, the Garden State remains firmly positioned as the national benchmark for modern, well-regulated gaming.”
