Wildwood Catholic head coach Steve DiPatri got his 600th career win as his team defeated Atlantic Tech 57-11 in the OC Tip-off in North Wildwood.
The Crusaders (2-0) were led by a trio of standout performances as Dani Daley scored 22 points, while Damiya Carter netted 17, and Lilly King had nine.
Wildwood Catholic took control early, outscoring Atlantic Tech 13-3 in the first quarter. The Crusaders continued to pour it on, leading 24-7 at halftime and 41-11 after three quarters.
DiPatri, now in his 29th season coaching girls basketball, began his career at the now-closed Sacred Heart High School in 1997-98. He spent 16 years there until the school’s closure in 2013 and has led Wildwood Catholic for the past 13 seasons. His overall record now stands at 600-159.
Trinitee McKellar led the way for Atlantic Tech (1-3) with six points.
