In 2026, the 3rd Annual Newark Summit for Real Estate, Economic Development & Placemaking returns to the Brick City Feb. 9.
Presented by roundtable&advisory, organizers anticipate a crowd of more than 1,250 attendees. This year, the full day of education and networking will take place at 550 Broad St.
The program will feature more than eight panel discussions, individual remarks and one-on-one conversations, along with a keynote fireside chat with Newark Mayor Ras Baraka.
As venue sponsor, The Fidelco Group will host the Newark Summit on the 16th and 17th floors of 550 Broad St., featuring New York City skyline views. Newark Alliance and Prudential Financial serve as co-chairs for the 2026 forum, with Invest Newark as presenting sponsor.
The Newark Summit draws investors, anchor institutions, developers, occupiers, owners, nonprofits and advisors from the city, state and region to discuss local growth, innovation and placemaking.
NJBIZ will again be on hand, as well, bringing back the NJBIZ Conversations interview booth.
Community, collaboration
“As the Newark Summit enters its third year, it’s an exciting time to convene and discuss the programs, initiatives, developments, and opportunities shaping Newark’s continued rise as a premier destination,” said Evan Weiss, president and CEO, Newark Alliance. “Supporting this annual event reinforces the collaboration across the public and private sectors that is driving Newark forward.”

“As an anchor institution in Newark for more than 150 years, Prudential is committed taking action to strengthen the city’s vibrancy and resilience,” said Lata Reddy, senior vice president, Inclusive Solutions at Prudential, and chair of The Prudential Foundation. “By sponsoring events such as The Newark Summit, we’re helping to spark ideas that catalyze economic growth and investment and shape Newark’s future for generations to come.”
Weiss and Reddy will both take part in the Leadership Innovations in Nonprofit, Philanthropy & Public-Private Partnerships panel discussion, along with The Fidelco Group Managing Principal Kerri Levine.
“As a longtime partner in Newark’s growth and stakeholder in the Downtown, we see this event as a natural reflection of our commitment to the city and the collaborative spirit that drives it forward,” said Levine. “550 Broad is a place where foundations, startups, corporations, innovators and community leaders come together. And we’re delighted to support the conversations and connections that strengthen Newark’s future.”
In New Jersey, roundtable&advisory’s signature Jersey City summit took place last May at Harborside 1.
