JP Skoric scored a game-high 19 points to lead Don Bosco Prep to a convincing 68-46 victory over Ramapo in a non-conference matchup in Ramsey.
Don Bosco Prep (8-9) controlled the game from the opening tip, building a 17-8 first-quarter lead and extending it to 32-16 by halftime. Don Bosco’s balanced attack featured 11 3-pointers from eight different players.
Skoric filled the stat sheet with 19 points, two rebounds, four assists, and two blocks. Mikahi Allen added eight points for Don Bosco Prep, while Brad Brown and Jamel Thomas Jr. contributed six points each. Brown also dished out five assists.
Don Bosco Prep’s team effort was evident with 21 total assists on their 27 field goals. Dylan McCarthy led the rebounding effort with five boards, while Luke Graham pulled down four rebounds.
For Ramapo (9-8), Jayden Ricks and Finn Marrah each scored 12 points to pace the Raiders’ offense. Marrah went 5-for-6 from the free-throw line and added a 3-pointer. A.J. Greig contributed seven points, including 3-for-3 from the charity stripe.
Don Bosco Prep maintained its momentum throughout the second half, outscoring Ramapo 19-14 in the third quarter and 17-16 in the fourth to secure its third consecutive victory. Don Bosco’s defense was active throughout, recording nine steals, as Branden Martucci led the way with two.
