Kabab Cafe and Bakery is Coming Soon to Paramus
A new Mediterranean-inspired restaurant and café concept is in the works for Paramus.
Friends Michael Zahabian and Mustafa Karali are preparing to open Kabab Café at 501 Route 17 South (formerly Eons), after searching for the right location to bring their vision to life.
The team is currently completing a full build-out of the space, which will be transformed into a cozy sit-down restaurant offering booth and table seating, along with takeout and delivery. Plans also include an outdoor patio.
Inside, the space is being designed with a casual, comfortable atmosphere in mind, including free WiFi and outlets at each table for guests who want to relax, meet friends, or work remotely.
The concept will feature two components under one roof. Kabab Café will focus on Mediterranean fare such as döner kababs, shish kababs, sandwiches, wraps, salads, appetizers, and a rotating selection of freshly prepared hot foods.
Alongside it, KC Bakery Café will offer a selection of baked goods including whole cakes, pastries, cookies, and croissants, paired with a full barista coffee program. The team says they have been meeting with various coffee roasters to source the beans for the café.
If construction continues as planned, the owners expect to open sometime this spring.
