Montvale Farmstand Planned for Former DePiero’s Location
A new community-focused farmstand concept is in the works for Montvale.
Montvale Farmstand is preparing to take over the former DePiero’s Farmstand property at 156 Summit Avenue, with plans to create a space centered around local agriculture, education, and community events.
According to early details, the concept will include a traditional farmstand alongside weekend farmers markets, classes, and other activities designed to highlight farming and local food.
Organizers say the goal is to create a place where the community can gather around agriculture while offering a fun and welcoming environment.
Branding for the project describes it as a “Community Forward Farm” featuring a mix of farmstand shopping, farmers markets, and educational programming.
The project is still in its early stages, with organizers currently discussing plans and continuing to develop the concept.
Additional details—including an opening date—have not yet been announced.
