Schenck Price, Smith & King LLP, located in Florham Park, said Elizabeth Moon has joined the firm as a partner in its Labor and Employment Law Practice Group.
Moon’s practice is focused on representing employers and management-level employees in federal and state courts against claims of discrimination, whistleblowing and retaliation, harassment, breach of contract, defamation, failure to promote, wrongful termination and other employment-related claims.
She also advises employers and their employees on company policies and procedures, employee leave, anti-discrimination and anti-harassment training, terminations, layoffs, disciplinary actions, and issues related to independent contractors or joint employers.

“We are very fortunate to add Elizabeth to the employment law department. This is a critical and fast-growing area for the firm and Elizabeth will substantially add to our depth and expertise,” said John E. Ursin, managing partner of Schenck Price.
“Good Employment Counsel has always been important to all of our clients but is particularly important these days in New Jersey where there seem to be new regulations for employers monthly. Elizabeth is particularly valuable because of her extensive experience and versatility in providing counselling to clients, contract negotiations, handbooks, and substantial litigation.”
Schenck, Price, Smith & King is 112-year-old law firm founded in Morristown and has offices in northern New Jersey and Manhattan, serving closely held, growing companies.
