Ocean Casino Resort announced Oct. 1 a $14 million transformation and expansion slated to open in early 2027.
Known as The Cove, the original 7,450-square-foot space will expand to 11,935 square feet, nearly a 60% increase. The project will bring an expanded gaming floor, elevated hospitality and a sophisticated new design inspired by the movement of the Atlantic Ocean.
The high-end lounge will feature more than 192 slot machines from leading gaming manufacturers, including Aristocrat, Light & Wonder, IGT and others. The addition of these machines was prompted by demand for high-end slots.
“This transformation of The Cove is another significant investment in the future of Ocean Casino Resort and the experiences we deliver to our guests,” said Ocean Casino Resort General Manager Bill Callahan.

The Cove will introduce a new collection of amenities intent on delivering guests with more seamless and personalized high-limit experiences. Some of those amenities include specialized cocktail service, comfortable seating areas, cashier booths and an enhanced beverage menu.
“We’ve expanded the space while elevating every aspect of the environment, from the design and gaming offerings to the service and amenities, resulting in a sophisticated and distinctly Ocean experience that reflects the level of quality our high-limit guests have come to expect from us,” Callahan said.
According to its website, Ocean Casino Resort currently limits entrance into The Cove to Ocean Rewards cardholders only:
- Sunday to Thursday: reserve, prime and preferred
- Friday and Saturday: reserve and prime only
The Cove will be located adjacent to the Asian Table Games area.
