Corinne Lora. – Hudson Regional Health (HRH)
Hudson Regional Health (HRH) said Oct. 2 it has promoted Corinne Lora to chief nursing officer of Secaucus University Hospital. Lora’s appointment follows the retirement of longtime Chief Nursing Officer Felicia Karsos.
Lora brings 20 years of clinical and health care leadership experience to the position. In 2018, she was hired as director of Perioperative Services at Secaucus University Hospital and was promoted last year to system vice president of Perioperative Services. In this role, she provided strategic and operational oversight across the system, helping advance improvements in care, patient safety and the patient experience.
“As Secaucus University Hospital continues to grow and further serve the community, there is no better person to lead our hospital team than Corinne,” said HRH Chairman of the Board Yan Moshe. “Her qualifications are second to none, and we look forward to her leadership as we continue to strengthen our operations and build on the progress we have made in Secaucus.”
Lora began her nursing career in medical-surgical nursing at Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center before moving into intensive care. She later transitioned to the operating room and perioperative services, which became the primary focus of her clinical and leadership career.
“Corinne has distinguished herself as one of our organization’s most respected healthcare professionals,” said HRH CEO and President Dr. Nizar Kifaieh. “Her firsthand experience at Secaucus University Hospital, combined with her system-wide leadership, makes her uniquely positioned to lead our team.”
In addition to her leadership positions at Secaucus University Hospital, Lora also served as director of Perioperative Services at St. Mary’s General Hospital and director of Nursing at Health Plus Surgical Center.
