JERA Americas has named Meredith Bottos as Director of State and Local Affairs, Northeast. In this new role, Bottos will oversee state government engagement, municipal affairs, advocacy initiatives, and community outreach as JERA Americas advances its power generation, energy development, and energy transition projects across the Northeast. She will work closely with state and local governments, community organizations, and other stakeholders while monitoring legislative and policy developments and supporting JERA Americas’ regional operations and development efforts. Bottos brings extensive experience in external affairs, public policy, and stakeholder engagement, most recently serving as External Affairs Manager at Braskem. She holds an MBA from Villanova University.
