Performance apparel retailer Rhone is celebrating the launch of its second store in New Jersey.
Following the unveiling of the new shop in Princeton at Palmer Square earlier this year, the brand will officially mark the grand opening with an Oct. 4 event featuring discounts, freebies and exclusive offers.
According to Rhone, festivities will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and include:
- 25% off storewide
- Complimentary Rhone tote bag with purchases of $200 or more
- Premium offerings from local partners
- Complimentary refreshments from Rojo’s Roastery and The Gingered Peach until 5 p.m.
Attendees can also row with Alpha Fit Club from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a chance to win prizes or get permanent jewelry by Auburn Jewelry from noon to 3 p.m. Rhone urges guests to book ahead with Auburn Jewelry for special event pricing.
Founded in 2014 by brothers Nate and Ben Checketts, Rhone began as a men’s sportswear brand sold via a direct-to-consumer e-commerce shop. The Stamford, Conn.-based brand has since expanded to form retail partnerships with Bloomingdale’s, Dillard’s, Nordstrom and Equinox, and branched out to begin offering women’s apparel.
Over the past six years, Rhone also has focused on ramping up its brick-and-mortar presence. It now has 20 branded locations across the U.S.
Rhone made its New Jersey debut May 16 at The Mall at Short Hills just ahead of the May 23 opening at Palmer Square.
A grand opening event was held over the summer for the Short Hills store, according to a Rhone spokesperson.
