CoreSite announced Sept. 25 completing its newest data center – NY3, located in Secaucus.
Last year, NJBIZ toured the construction site of the 138,000-square-foot, purpose-built facility, adjacent to CoreSite‘s existing NY2 facility in Secaucus.
The completion of NY3 adds to CoreSite’s growing footprint in the region. It establishes what CoreSite says is one of the most connected and scalable data center campuses on the Eastern Seaboard.
“The launch of NY3 represents more than just added capacity; it’s a strategic investment in our customers’ future,” said Adam Post, senior vice president of finance and corporate development, CoreSite.
As AI and advanced workloads reshape industries, enterprises need infrastructure that is purpose-built for performance and scalability along with robust interconnectivity solutions to accelerate their digital transformation.

Top priority
Pointing to the findings of the 2025 State of the Data Center Report, CoreSite says cloud interconnection has emerged as the No. 1 reason organizations choose co-location data centers for running generative AI applications and workloads. High-density power and cooling capabilities, cost efficiency, compliance and security also ranked as top priorities.
“As AI and advanced workloads reshape industries, enterprises need infrastructure that is purpose-built for performance and scalability along with robust interconnectivity solutions to accelerate their digital transformation,” said Post. “NY3 delivers on that promise and will empower our customers in the New York market to innovate, connect and grow with confidence.”
