The New Jersey Business Action Center is a tremendous resource for business owners and executives. The agency – housed within the Department of State – says it exists to help businesses thrive, grow and succeed.
“Tapping into our deep understanding of the current business landscape, we are able to connect you with the appropriate experts to reach your goals,” NJBAC says on its website. “Our business advocates are available to work closely with you and find solutions for your unique business needs. We can help get the answers you need from government and regulatory agencies at the local, state and federal level. We can facilitate your meetings and handle the follow-ups – confidentially and at no cost to you.”
At no cost. Where else can you get that kind of deal?
NJBAC is run by Melanie Willoughby, who began her career in government by serving Gov. Brendan Byrne as Director of State and Federal Government Affairs. She ran the administration’s agenda on fiscal control of municipal and county governments, housing development and land use planning. In 2022, Willoughby joined NJBIZ Conversations to talk about how NJBAC could help businesses expand overseas.
In this edition of NJBIZ Conversations, Willoughby discusses NJBAC’s programs designed to help the manufacturing industry, individuals hoping to break into the cannabis industry, businesses trying to improve their online presence and many other subjects.
