Not just for the kids

A new trend report from Ferrero North America found that more adults say Halloween should be for them, too. Find out more here.
Since launching Sept. 18, the pack has sold out in minutes during each daily drop weekdays at noon, Mars said. The item will be available through Oct. 24, according to the company.
“As a family-owned company, at Mars we know holidays mean more when we can celebrate together,” said Tim LeBel, Mars Wrigley North America president of sales and chief Halloween officer. “We’re excited to give Americans the chance to extend spooky season celebrations to their beloved pets with our Mars Tails & Treating Packs — a first-of-its kind product innovation that only a company like Mars can offer.”
Anton Vincent, president of Mars Wrigley North America & global ice cream division, added, “Mars products are enjoyed by millions of people and pets across the country each year. Our diverse portfolio reflects Mars commitment to innovation as we continuously strive to make sure our brands are positioned to meet Americans’ needs while playing a meaningful role in people and pets’ lives.”
A paws-itive difference
In addition to blending pet-friendly fun and candy favorites in a Halloween-ready box, the pack supports pets in need with a charitable $10,000 donation to the Pedigree Foundation, Mars said.

While Mars is based in Virginia, the company has longstanding ties to New Jersey, where it has its confectionery headquarters in Newark.
The packs aren’t the only Halloween goodies from Mars.
As part of a bid to capitalize on the busy season, Mars is offering more than 90 products this fall. That includes a mix of returning favorites, like pumpkin-shaped Snickers and pumpkin pie-flavored M&M’s, to new seasonal packaging and variety packs.
The company also released its seasonal lineup earlier than ever in response to the growing trend of consumers celebrating Halloween in the summer, aka “Summerween.”
