- Hudson Regional Health formed in 2025 after CarePoint Health’s bankruptcy
Hudson Regional Health is bringing in a new chief nursing officer at Secaucus University Hospital.
The health system named Corinne Lora to the position in an Oct. 2 press release. Her appointment follows the retirement of longtime chief nursing officer Felicia Karsos, according to HRH.
Lora brings two decades of clinical and healthcare leadership to the role, the network said. She joined Secaucus University Hospital as director of perioperative services in 2018.
Lora began her career in medical-surgical nursing at Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center before moving into intensive care. She later transitioned her nursing specialty to the operating room and perioperative services. Her background also includes leadership posts at Health Plus Surgical Center in Saddle Brook and St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic.
According to HRH, Lora was promoted last year to serve as system vice president of perioperative services.
Lora also received Nurse of the Year honors as one of NJBIZ’s Healthcare Heroes in 2024. HRH also selected her as its hospital director of the year in 2019.
‘No better person to lead our hospital team’
In a LinkedIn post, Lora wrote, “I’m truly honored to take on the role of Chief Nursing Officer and grateful for the opportunity to continue growing, leading and contributing to the success of Hudson Regional Health. I am committed to doing my very best to support our teams, strengthen our organization, and help make Hudson Regional Health the best it can be.
She continued, “I would like to thank Yan Moshe and Dr. Kifaieh for believing in me and giving me this incredible opportunity. I am also extremely proud to work alongside such a talented and dedicated executive leadership team across our system.”
HRH Board Chairman Yan Moshe commented, “As Secaucus University Hospital continues to grow and further serve the community, there is no better person to lead our hospital team than Corinne.”

HRH CEO and President Nizar Kifaieh added, “Corinne has distinguished herself as one of our organization’s most respected healthcare professionals. Her firsthand experience at Secaucus University Hospital, combined with her system-wide leadership, makes her uniquely positioned to lead our team.”
Besides Secaucus, the HRH network includes hospitals in Hoboken and Bayonne. The fast-growing system also has over 1,500 affiliated physicians in the region.
HRH formed in May 2025 through a restructuring prompted by CarePoint Health’s bankruptcy. Following the court-approved acquisitions of three hospitals in Hudson County, HRH is investing up to $100 million on upgrades across its facilities. It closed Heights University Hospital – formerly known as Christ Hospital – in Jersey City earlier this year.
