“Sister Wives” is shaking things up big time this season.
It has been a while since that title meant anything relevant to the series, of course, since most of the titular wives left husband Kody Brown over the course of the last few years.
However, now that Kody Brown and his only remaining wife, Robyn, have left the show entirely… well, what does “Sister Wives” look like without the husband they were all married to?
We’re about to find out.
How to watch “Sister Wives” for free on demand
Season 21 of “Sister Wives” premieres on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 10 p.m. on TLC. You can watch the new episode, along with all future ones, on Philo (7-day free trial) or Sling TV or DIRECTV (multi-day free trial).
What is the new episode of “Sister Wives” about?
Well, to start, here’s a look at a trailer for the new season and its strange new dynamics:
If you have not been following along with all the drama, Meri Brown has recently revealed that Kody and Robyn have been functionally monogamous with each other since their marriage in 2010.
At some point, Kody’s relationship with the other sister wives deteriorated to the point that he and Robyn have outright refused to film with them any longer.
Tonight’s episode will be different from previous installments of the series. Now, the show will follow Meri, Janelle, and Christine and their lives in the aftermath of all the chaos that came before.
Their meeting in tonight’s episode will be the first time they have all been together since the memorial for Janelle’s son, Garrison, back in 2024.
If you want to watch the show live or after it airs, some of the best places to do so are Philo (7-day free trial) or Sling TV or DIRECTV (multi-day free trial).
